WMUR, Hearst Television???s ABC affiliate in Manchester, NH, has a rare opportunity at one of the country???s only evening magazine shows. We are searching for a reporter for our program, New Hampshire Chronicle. The successful candidate must have a passion and demonstrated talent for long form storytelling. You must know how to seek out a compelling story and make it sparkle through your great writing and producing. You will conduct active and engaging interviews, be a champion of strong visuals and sound and be a team player ??? working closely with videographers, editors and producers to create pieces that shine. You must have an engaging and personable on-air presence and be as comfortable on camera as you are off.  A knowledge of the people, places and things that make New Hampshire great is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strong & creative reporter who hits the ground running everyday
  • You will be a versatile, enterprising self-starter who is knowledgeable, creative & fast.
  • You must be able to work under tight deadlines

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional reporting
  • Experience with enterprise reporting
  • A demo reel that is indicative of your everyday work
  • Exhibits unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards
  • Have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
  • Work varied shifts including overnights and weekends and some holidays
