News director Alisha McDevitt received the Broadcaster of the Year award at the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters dinner (view video here).
McDevitt has been with WMUR since 1995 and is the driving force behind not only the station’s daily news and political coverage, but also its many community efforts.
“Coming to work every single day is a privilege,” McDevitt said. “It is a privilege to be able to tell stories. It’s a privilege to be able to find the truth. It’s a privilege to be able to be in our communities.”
