(July 12, 2018) – Two federal agencies are teaming up to present a live Emergency Alert System (EAS) webinar on Wednesday, July 25. It will be held from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EDT.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The webinar is designed for AM/FM/TV/cable EAS participants…wireless service providers… and EAS message originators (in New Hampshire that means State Police, NH Homeland Security & Emergency Management or the National Weather Service).
The FCC has announced another national EAS test is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:18 p.m. EDT.
