(September 10, 1918) – Due to the likely activation of the Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS) for Hurricane Florence, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau is canceling the voluntary test of DIRS for broadcasters that was planned for September 13-14, 2018.
If DIRS is activated for Hurricane Florence, a separate e-mail will be sent to you which will include the activation region for Hurricane Florence. We are planning on having a DIRS test for broadcasters after the hurricane season is over.
