August is Eat Local Month in New Hampshire!

July 22, 2016 – New Hampshire broadcasters are teaming up with the state’s produce growers to publicize NH Eat Local Month throughout August.  Throughout the month member stations will run spots reminding listeners to enjoy the harvest by visiting local farmers markets…farm stands…and pick-your-own farms.

The promotion is part of NHAB’s ongoing Non Commercial Sustaining Announcement (NCSA) program.  Clients like the New Hampshire Farms Network pay NHAB, then stations donate airtime to run the spots.  Clients typically receive a 4:1 return on investment.  NCSA’s are approved by the Federal Communications Commission; only government agencies and non-profit organizations are eligible.
