The Programming Administrator for Boston market leading stations WCVB-TV (Boston) and WMUR-TV (Manchester) – as well as their second digital sub-channels “MeTV Boston” and “MeTV New Hampshire” - reports to The Director of Programming and Communications and provides administrative support for the programming departments at WCVB-TV and WMUR-TV.  In this role, the Programming Administrator is responsible for managing all stations’ program schedules (local, syndication, and network) and listings services as well as managing all feed/distribution information for stations’ programming.  Additionally, the Programming Administrator is responsible for managing and updating stations’ Over the Top (OTT) steaming clearances and black-out schedules as well as any MVPD program streams and services.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to managing all FCC Quarterly Reporting (Children’s Programming Reports, Commercial Time Limits Compliance, Issues & Programs, etc.) as well as Closed Captioning requirements.  The Programming Administrator assists with Social Media promotion of stations’ programming as well as responding to viewers’ correspondence.  In this role, the Programming Administrator interacts with all departments at the stations, as well as network, syndicator, community partners, and others; and the candidate should have excellent communications and organizational skills.

BS degree preferred

 * Ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

pplicant should have outstanding organizational skills.

andidate should have related experience working at a television station and be particularly adept at program operations, scheduling, and planning, as well as an understanding of FCC reporting requirements.

wo to three years’ experience in the capacities listed above is preferred.
