New Hampshire’s PBS Station is seeking a part-time experienced individual to help support public relations, marketing and promotion efforts in a multi-platform environment (print, web, e-communications, social media, on-air) for up to 25 hours/week.
Duties include: Write copy, edit and produce the weekly e-news, quarterly Kids Club e-news, monthly Connections newsletter, and e-communications. Plan, write, review and post content to web, social media, and content databases (press releases, e-communications, programs and event promotional materials). Create collateral materials. Work with internal departments and external partners to gather content for dissemination in print and online communications. Maintain communications databases. Assist with creation and implementation of promotional strategies and collateral materials for programs, services and events. Represent NHPTV at events as needed.
Qualification: Bachelors degree and one year of experience working in public relations, communications, and/or marketing; excellent writing and editing skills; ability to work on multiple projects and within tight deadlines; detail oriented; competency with PC and Macintosh platforms; competency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Additional desirable qualification: Familiarity with and enthusiastic about public television; Familiarity with the media landscape in New England; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
