WMUR–TV, Hearst Television’s ABC affiliate in Manchester, NH has an opening for a Multi-Platform Account Executive. The Account Executive position is responsible for creating and selling custom marketing and advertising campaigns utilizing WMUR’s key platforms-   WMUR-TV,, WMUR Mobile and MeTV New Hampshire. We are looking for well organized, detail orientated professionals with exceptional presentation skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. A positive, winning attitude is essential along with the flexibility to work in a competitive and rapidly changing environment. This is a great opportunity to work at the leading media outlet in New Hampshire.

Job Responsibilities: include but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting and closing new business for all WMUR platforms.
  • Managing and growing business from an existing account list.
  • Achieving revenue goals.
  • Selling the value of WMUR assets.
  • Working to gain skills needed to advance within the department


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prospect, cold call and close sales.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently with multiple active projects.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Basic working knowledge of computer software.  Experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix would be a plus


  • Media sales experience (preferred)
